got to midvalley at 6 after jamming my way from kerinchi link road. since it was early i went over to brewball and see ruba beating nick's, sern's and dr's asses in pool.
after wondering around, we made our way to the boulevard road where midzone countdown is held. it was DEAD from 9 till 11.. the lady in black on the stage is serena.c and she's the emcee.
the party started when chicks in skimpy white clothes doing their dirty dance. the guys started to give comment on who can dance, who cant, who's hawt, who's fat......
there were performance on bhangra music. not exactly bhangra but yeah with the instrument that looks very drum-ish.
myself. ming. sern who got a shock of his life when he saw me taking a box of dunhill out of my pocket. just to find out its ruba's.
sern was the one taking this picture and i swear he is the worst photographer on earth! he took 4 of me and ming kaku-ing and this is the best.. first time he ter-recorded instead of snapping. =.=" how noob can you be la sern!

damn midvalley didnt call bomoh to shoo away rain! halfway dancing, *plit-plat-plit-plat*, started to drizzle! then it got slightly heavier but the crowd still stayed and continue to shake and bang heads.

daym! the best part of the whole countdown was laser lights. damn chunted, damn on.
sadly, i had a bad view on the fireworks! the damn walkway was blocking from where i was standing. shouldnt have went up the stage. the most i can see is the tail and small-not-so-nice-portion of the fireworks. 
when it was 12 sharp, two huge balls came out of no where and everyone started to hit it high as though the higher they hit, the brighter and more successful year 2008 will be. i got to hit it once only. =.="

sern. myself.by 2.30 i was bushed and sern followed me out to the taxi stand to wait for my dad to pick me up. daym! he was drunk and so he got kenny to pick me who was also slightly drunk.. thank god i made it to one world safe and sound.
the drunket family i have. it's the first time i see my dad and mum staying up till 4. normally they K.O by 12, latest by 1 la.. su wen, my cousin, on my right, she finally get to havoc after a whole year being sober. mum was telling me how they celebrated eve and..*kenny: eh u still wanna drink? (holding wine bottle)*
*suwen: of cause la! being pregnant with ur son, whole year never drink!* aha
ah man. am lil regret not joining my family. they had extreme fun at dave's, drinking and dancing. video my cousin taped was hilarious. i had a very good dreamless sleep on a very huge comfy bed at one world. next morning woke up at 11.30 and had brunch/lunch at cinamon cafe.
well, thats pretty much sum up how i kick off my 2008. how's urs? oh one thing, i was SOBER like a grandmother would be! very different eve from all of urs eh? and my feet kena step like gile many times. my poor tiny toes now hurts!
a new year calls for more stories and treasured moments in the future. Mmm.. im writing down my top 10 resolution.
