twoS.

u Aahh, i am breathing blog air again. i think i havent blog for like.... 2 weeks? had been real lazy and i think my mood for blogging mellowed down.. lets begin with where i've left off, TheDe-Installation a.k.a LeavingTheJobOfBeingAKuli-Day. Shit, if Dharu were to read this she'll slaughter me for "mencemar-ing" Interact.. a day before the "memorable" day, we had rehearsel and it started realL late. so, wainee, jennai, manveen, steph, wenchian and myself spent 2 hours + at steph's oh-so-nice condo at amcorp. we tapau-ed some food to her place and sat infront of the idiot box to watch the most sohai show ever.

manveen and doris was pretty engross but jenn was restless. and i realise when she's restless, she'll start positioning herself in the oddest way. frog style, dog style... er no no i'm not talking bout KamaSutra/ sex style....it was a real CLEAN DAY.

chen and myself didnt fancy that show at all!

yerp, the show made her sleep. if you're wondering what show i'm talking about, its DefinitelyMaybe. now that you know the title of the movie, DO NOT WATCH IT.

the following morning, i dragged my ass a lil late to my school hall and almost got myself to lose a cert.

as you can see, the theme is spring into action. i have to say it is one of the nicest banner painted.

myself, doGris and chris.

we are proud people. we've serve the community.

this would definitely be our last time wearing the grey uniform.

after the whole ceremony, wainee, felicia, doris, wenchian, steph and myself walked over to raju's for brunch.

oh, do you know all the tambi at raju's is steph's labourer? haha.. all the tambi treated her like some big shot juust cause she goes there often.. pfft!

Yiling, chris and myself.

after De-Installation day was the Jubli Concert. lets just say we werent putting our hopes too high on the concert, neither were we excited about the performance. but we were looking forward to dress up in sari. i think sangeetha can start opening a store selling saris because she has gazzilion of saris with every colour you can possibly think of. for the past whole week, she had been bringing saris to school and many of us borrowed from her. shantini had been nice to teach us how to wrap it around ourselves HOWEVER, ONLY me, myself and i understand how and on the real day, i TIED the sari MYSELF. and even HELPED jenn to tie hers. eh, i'm proud aight, cause many indians dont even know how and when i told them i tied it myself they were amazed. =)

just look at her face.. oh she's modelling my sari for me.

i went over to jenn's new place to help her tie her maroon sari. just look at her mirror la! damn freakin small!

before the concert, some of us when over to SpecialPenang across SivikHall for dinner. oh, the penang rojak was heaven. do try! at about 8.15, we entered the already packed with people hall. thank you, chian for saving us seats!

manveen and myself. i love her turquoise sari! and best of all, its ready made!

jenn and myself.

pictures below are the performances for the night.

its fine, but lil too short.

its ok but lil too long.. i think it is about 30 mins..

its stupid, i dont understand. they were just moving about.

they clain they are a touch of class.. Mmmm i agree 65%? one of the best performace. wainee thinks they should call themselves ElephantsOnTutu.

its funny for the first few minutes, however the jokes got real old after awhile. best play though and Not complicated.

this never ending play was.... ok, i tried to find better words to describe it but boring is the only word i could think of.

Zapin dance if im not mistaken. manveen was wondering how did that piece of clothe on the head was so securely stuck to their heads. and i told her, THEY ARE BARELY EVEN MOVING! THE DAMN CLOTHE WOULNDT BUDGE AN INCH!

when i saw them doing this prop, i thought its to be put up during Ceriathone.little do i know, its for their KINDERGARDEN PERFORMANCE.

once again, i thought i was in a concert performed by 5 years old kid.
this is the only performance worth watching. and its the only cultural dance which ever caught my attention. yes, they were good. mostly is because they were SOOOO synchronize and i know its not easy to coordinate so many poeple. then again, they were being taught by some outsider.
the grand finale.

the cover for the booklet wasnt that bad.
the concert ended about 10.45 and i followed jenn home. i thought we would have had a drink somewhere but jenn's ride came early. ahh, now there isnt much to look forward to except..... trials? SHYT!SHItz. trials' in a month plus time and opening books is not in my daily itinerary.

my first time wearing a traditional clothes and its not even a cheongsam.
ifeel.
